Mr.E and I....The Love Story

Good Bye 2008!  This year has been a good one.  Let's hope next year is even better!!!

Tonight is New Year's Eve :)  Mr. E and I have BIG plans.....watching a movie and drinking champagne as the ball drops.  What do you expect with a toddler at home???  Plus tonight is our SEVEN year anniversary of when we met :)  So we like to spend a little alone time together to remember our meeting.  I only think it's appropriate to tell the interesting tale here :)

****FLASHBACK****

Back 7 years ago, I was a young single woman who enjoyed to have a good time with her friends.  I lived my my best friend T.  Every NYE we always went downtown to our favorite bar with our friends and the masses.  We always flirted hard and enjoyed the attention:)

This year was going to be no different.  We had a group of 10 people that took a cab downtown after being locked out of our house and me having to shimmy through the tiniest window opening ( a whole other story).  So I was a little hesitant as to what the evening had in store for us.  We arrive at our favorite bar and start dancing and drinking and having a great time with our friends.

Well T and I are minglers and we always chatted it up with guys in hopes of getting a free beer :)  Hey I was a poor teacher ;)  It was around 11 when I see T talking with the cute, but dorky guy.  She motioned me over.  I said hey and T was telling me how cute his goatee was.  When suddenly a guy T was seeing came over and swept her away.  I was stuck with dorky guy.  I kinda felt bad for him because he was alone or so I thought.  I thought to myself..hmm maybe I'll hook him up with one of my friends who is more interested in finding a boyfriend.  Guy however, introduces himself as Mr.E :)  I start asking questions about why was he alone on NYE...was he a scary stalker guy???  He wasn't and introduced me to his brother and girlfriend (who are now married).  They were oddly dressed in glow sticks and hats and other obnoxious things I wouldn't wear at the time.  We continue to talk, but I'm getting anxious to get back to my friends.  I wasn't looking for a date.  I tried to pawn him off on a friend, but Mr. E wasn't having it and continued to vi for my attention.  Finally to get rid of him I said, if you aren't kissing anyone at midnight, you owe me a beer.  I thought score free beer, he's too dorky to kiss a girl;)  So I leave.  Midnight rolls around and I look over at him and sure enough no girls.  He motions to get a beer :)  I retrieve it.  Mr. E continues to talk to me and tries to get my number.....no no I don't give my number out to strangers.  I take my beer and go back to my friends.

Well 2 more times during the evening Mr. E continues to ask for my number.  Finally at 3 as the bar was closing, I gave it to him probably because of all the alcohol :)  He called a few days later and I was busy, but he was persistent and continued until we had our first date a week later.  The rest is history ;)  We have been inseparable ever since.  And people say you can't meet nice guys in bars :)

I am glad that he decided to go out with his brother and be so persistent!  He has made the last seven years wonderful and fulfilling.  I look forward to at least seven more with him;o)

Have a great NYE everyone!  Enjoy the night with your loved ones and be safe!!  Don't forget to make resolutions.  I'll be posting mine soon ;)

Toys Toys Toys!!!

Can we have any more toys????  I don't think so, but with Little Lion's birthday a week away, I'm sure we'll be able to name our house Toys R Us!  Christmas was great this year!  Everyone had a nice time and both Grandparents got the best present from us :)  More to come on that later.........

Christmas Eve afternoon we hit up SeaWorld and surprisingly it wasn't too busy!  We rode the rides and saw the Sharks.  It pooped LL out which lead to a nice 3 hour nap ;)  Christmas Eve evening, we spent at Mr.E's parents house.  We celebrate the Polish Catholic traditions.  There is lots of food featuring fish and a breaking of a nativity wafer and wishing each other good wishes for the next year.  LL enjoyed playing with his cousins and of course TOYS!  Here's Grandma and Grandpa.

Christmas morning is family time. Santa came and brought the good little boy presents.  And what do all 2 year olds want.....TOYS!  Here are some of his favorites.

Christmas afternoon, we went to my parents for the day.  LL had fun playing with the doggie that my parents are pet sitting and riding in the golf cart looking at Christmas lights...it was 80 degrees here :)  Here LL is with Grandma and Pop.
And must have some family pics too.  Look how cute my boys are matching ;)
Well as fast as it comes, it goes too!  Now we hit up the sales :)  Target will be having it's 75% toy sale in the next couple of weeks (yes I'll still buy more toys....for next year as I tell Mr. E).  With 2008 almost out the door, I need to start thinking of my new year resolutions.  I'm sure I'll post them here ;)  I hope you holiday was as special as our family's :)

My Angel Little Lion

I can't believe I forgot to blog about Little Lion's Christmas Angel Ornament craft!!!  We had a family dinner at my inlaws house the first week of December and my SIL had made angel ornaments of her kids.  My MIL *had* to have one of Little Lion too.  Even though I'm a former elementary school teacher, crafts are NOT my fort ay!  I dreaded the holiday time when I'd have 25 over excited little kids with scissors, glue and sparkles in my room.  It always ended with me having a headache and the floor was a pretty sparkling silver.

SIL ensured me that it was *easy*.  All I had to do was trace LL's hands and feet and take a picture of his face and use the hands as wings and foot as a body.  That does sound easy!!!

But let me tell you, have you ever tried to trace a 2 year old's hands?????  Do you think he wants to stand still while you attempt to hold his hand down for 30 seconds?  NOOOOOOOO  I didn't even attempt the foot. I had the brain idea to trace them while he napped.  It worked like a charm!  Here is my little keepsake ornament that I made for my parents, inlaws, and of course us.  Little Lion my Angel!

It's a Disney Christmas...kind of

On Saturday we went to the Magic Kingdom with our friends C, T, and Little C.  C and C are our usual weekly playdate friends, but we decided to get the hubbies involved too :)  Here are the little friends on the train.
We thought we'd seen a ton of holiday decorations which we didn't, but we had a great time anyway.  We took the kids on a bunch of rides which they really enjoyed.  Here is a picture of Mr. E taking Little Lion on the Indy Speedway.  Mr. E let Little Lion drive!!!!!  Do you see LL steering and Mr.E's hands in the air?????  SCARY!!!!!!!!!
The only ride Little Lion was not fond of was the Pirates of the Caribbean.  I think it was too dark for him, but he was fine on the drop ;)  We also went on The Swiss Family Robinson Tree House and took a family picture.  Little Lion's FAVORITE ride was the Magic Carpet Ride!  He LOVED pushing the lever to make us go up or down.  As you can tell from our family picture that Little Lion only had eyes for the lever.  He is definitely NOT afraid of heights!

And of course you can't go to Magic Kingdom without the family picture in front of Cinderella's castle.  Yup that's the majority of the holiday decorations.  You can tell it's the end of the day with a little boy who didn't take a nap because of all the excitement :)
All and all this was a fun day!  Next we'll hit up SeaWorld and see their decorations!!!

Obnoxious House

Yup I'm referring to our house.  Mr. E added WAYYYYYYY more lights then we had last year to our *dancing lights* house.  Last year, competitive Mr. E wanting to win our neighborhood house decorating contest.  So we purchased the dancing lights machine.  It has 6 lines that are preprogramed to the holiday music it plays.  Needless to say, we didn't win.  However, Mr. E is determined to do better this year.  And this is what our crazy house looks like.  Unfortunately you can't hear the music that goes along with it, but you'll get the point.  PS the video is about a minute :)

Mary and Joseph aka Mama and Dada

Last Saturday night was Mr. E's work holiday party.  My parents came to babysit Little Lion.  When we got home, Little Lion was in his crib with his 2 new favorite *toys*.  My mom and dad were out in the living room with Little Lion where most of our decorations are located.  My mom was showing him all the decorations, tree, stocking, nativity set.  Little Lion was most fascinated by my Willow Tree nativity set.
He really liked the Mary and Joseph.  Since he's not a big talker yet, my mom named them Mama and Dada.  Ever since he has been walking around the house with *Mama and Dada*.  He even kisses them.  He's so sweet!  At least he knows the reason for season;)

Bubble Claus

I'm trying to be creative this Christmas :) I'm not sure it's working to my advantage. Mr. E and I thought it'd be cute/funny to put a bubble beard on Little Lion and a Santa hat for our holiday card picture. I took easily 50 pictures *attempting* to get a good one. Here is the best.

Now that I got one, I'm not sure I really like it.  What do you think?????  I think it's cute, but I think it looks too pale and maybe people want to see the rest of his body or the entire hat.  Any constructive criticism or ideas?  I may try again in his Christmas outfit.  GRRRR to 2 year olds who don't cooperate when taking pictures ;)  Whew I feel better getting that off my chest!!!

I <3 my Eye!

I'm HEALED!!!  My cornea abrasion is all better.  My eye isn't red anymore nor watery.  I still have a tiny bit of blurred vision, but that's cuz my pupils are returning to their normal functioning self :)  I now must be proactive to not let this happen again!  It is too much pain and trouble for 4 days!!  Thanks for your good thoughts ;)

Now onto Holiday tasks.  Mr. E is working on his light extravaganza outside.  I put up the tree.  Mr. E needs to put the trains around it.  I attempted to take a Christmas picture of Little Lion for Christmas cards last night.   I only have 2 people left on my shopping list. ( You know I shop early!)  I need to bake some holiday cookies for the family.  We have a few parties to attend.  And I want to check out SeaWorld and Disney holiday decorations.  Whew!  This month will blow by fast.  But never fear, I will blog about all these fun tasks :)

23 days to Christmas ;)

Happy Freaking Thanksgiving....Warning TMI

A belated Happy Thanksgiving day to all my loyal readers!  I hope you all ate until you had to unbutton your pants!

Our Thanksgiving however, was not so fantastic.  Wednesday night around 8 my eye started bothering me.  Remember when I blogged about Little Lion poking me in the eye when he was one month old.  Well the pain started again.  I figured I must be dehydrated and drank a bottle of water and went to bed.  In the morning I woke up to this..... GRAPHIC.....Sorry a not so pretty picture!
I was in pain!  I thought hmmm maybe it's pink eye instead.  Granted I didn't know anyone who had pink eye, but you never know with all the germs around.  So I didn't want to go to Thanksgiving and expose everyone to pink eye.  I called the nurse hotline through AARP...thanks Dad :)  She said it didn't sound like Pink Eye which was good news.  Except now I was worried wether or not I needed antibiotics.  Now remember it's Thanksgiving day....is anything open....NO!!!!  Luckily for me, Mr. E has been doing a side job of setting up a doctor's office.  Guess what kind of doctor....an EYE doctor!!  So I texted her and then talked to her.  She said it didn't sound like pink eye also and she'd see me tomorrow (Friday) if it didn't get better.  So off we went to Thanksgiving lunch at my parents, dinner at Mr.E's family.  I just wore sunglasses all day since my eye was sooo sensitive to light and looked even worse then the picture above.  I was in pain and took Tylenol all day.  And I carried a tissue because my eye just leaked and leaked tears.

The next day, Friday, I woke up with the same amount of pain except now my vision was blurry in that eye.  I called the Dr. who agreed to see me on her day off...Mr. E went to work also on her stuff ;)  She checked me out and agreed that my cornea abrasion had returned.  She informed that I will probably deal with this for the rest of my life.  I just need to be proactive.  I should use eye drops daily and take flax seed oil to keep the moisture in my eye.  Basically (ready for a medical lesson) the cornea is weak in that spot and when you rub the spot because of dry eyes the new cells slack off.  Therefore over time the spot eventually becomes the hole of Little Lion's finger.  Who said having kids was easy????

I am now dilating my eye with drops every 2-4 hours and putting another healing drop in my eye every 2-4 hours and putting antibiotics in morning and night.  I do this all weekend until I see the Dr on Monday.   Good times. Good times.

Little Lion is really really lucky he is so darn cute with all this pain he has put me through!!!

How Old Do I Look????

30???  21???  46???  17???  24???  36???

I went to Publix today (our local grocery store) to get food (duh) for the holidays and to eat (duh again).  I had Little Lion with me in the BIG race car cart.  This thing really could knock someone out and the turn radius is NOT good.  I suck it up however, because LL will actually sit in it for the majority of our shopping trip.  I filled up our cart and only had one minor LL tantrum (woo whoo).  The last thing I added to our obnoxious cart was Mr. E and my favorite beer, Leinenkugels.  (Yeah Wisconsin beer!) I bought 2 six packs of Honey Wheat since that's all they sell.

I get to the check out and put all the grocery's on the checkout.  I go over to swipe my credit card when I notice that I don't have my Discover Card (no big deal, even though it's 5% cash back now on groceries), but I don't have my driver's license either.  (See where this is going?).  I had given both of those to Mr. E on Saturday night for our date night to Roy's and Twilight movie.  I didn't want to bring my purse.  Well I forgot to put them back in my purse.  I thought oh well I'll pay with my debit card, they don't need an id for that.  What I didn't think would happen was the cashier, whom I've bought many groceries from before including beer, would ask for my id to buy beer!!!!!!!!!!

Cashier:  Do you have your id?
Me:  Really?  I actually don't it's in my husband's wallet.
LL:  WAAAAAA  (he wanted a balloon).
Cashier:  I can't sell you beer without an id.
Me:  Really???  I'm 30!  (thinking about my eye wrinkles and looking at LL and this big ass cart thinking what teenage would have all these groceries and a whining 2 year old in car cart???)
Cashier:  Sorry, you can't buy it. (as she takes the 2 six packs away)
Me:  Fine. Whatever.  REALLY I'M 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UGH!  I was soooo annoyed.  I mean I understand you need to see an id for someone who looks young.  I think I look young too, but NOT under 21 young!!!!  Plus that would mean I'd have LL when I was 18(no offense to anyone who did).  Sheesh!  So I have no beer and I'll have to go back tomorrow (we can't make it through the holidays at the inlaws without it!) and you better believe I'm going through that lady's line!!!  And I will definitely be pointing out that I'm THIRTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I never thought I'd be so proud to announce my age ;)

If You're Happy And You Know It!

The talented Little Lion is a computer geek like his father.  LL loves playing on the computer!  So for our trip to Hawaii we bought Sesame Street First Steps to help entertain him on the 15 hour flight.  One of the games is Do I What I Do Songs.  The songs are Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes, Where is Thumbkin?, and If You're Happy and You Know It.  LL enjoys watching them all.  Well he actually does what the characters are doing!  It is so cute!  Last night before bed, we were playing and singing.  Here is the talented Little Lion.  Notice he points to his face too for "you're face will surely show it".  Soooooooooooo cute!!!

Blast Off!!!

Tonight was the last night shuttle launch.  So Mr. E, Little Lion, and I decided to head over to Cocoa Beach to watch Endeavor blast off.  Mr. E has been going to shuttle launches since he was a little boy and has fond memories.  I never experienced one until meeting Mr. E and we usually go a couple times a year.  So of course Mr. E wants Little Lion to have the same great memories ;)

This was our 2nd night launch.  These are the best to see since you get to see it go from pitch black into daylight for a few seconds.  It's amazing every time!   It's also fun because we park on the side of the road with LOTS of other people and everyone gets out of their cars and sits on the roof or walks to the water to get the best view.  We usually don't go to Shuttle launches even though they are 30 mins away because of traffic and timing, and we can see them from our back yard well.  However, tonight was perfect!  There was a full moon and the temperature was 80 degrees.  Plus it's always more fun to feel the blast and be around all the spectators.  I decided to take a video with Mr E's phone.  It only records 30 seconds hence the 2 videos ;)  It really doesn't do it justice!  Gotta love living in Florida :)

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Can you believe it's already the holiday season???  Seriously time flies by way too too fast!  Being a planner by nature, I've already finished half of my Christmas shopping list and pretty much know what I'm getting everyone else.  Today my SIL (sister-in-law) and I decided to take the kids to get pictures taken together at JCPenney for the Grandparents.  SIL has 2 kids, a boy J and a girl M.  The three of them are 10 months apart, so basically 1, 2, and 3 years old.

Things that I learned about going to get professional pictures.

**Take lots of things to entertain all parties involved....toys, suckers, bubbles for the kids and a small flask for the mommies ;)

**You have to sit through all of the *enhanced* pictures that the clerk tries to sell you...just smile and say I want the Free 8x10 and the cheapo $3.99 a sheet pictures.

**Kids when they are 1 and don't walk yet, sit nice.  Kids that are 3, listen to directions well and sit nice.  Kids that are 2, have a mind of their own and don't want to sit EVER;o)  Guess which one is mine?????

**The best shot is ALWAYS the first one.  45 minutes later, we decided that was it and the first one is the best one.

**Clear the rest of the day because baby and Mommy need a nap...BAD!!!!

Happy Holidays early.....16 days to Thanksgiving.....45 days to Christmas.....52 days to 2009....55 days until LL is 2!

AWing LIttle Lion

My son is a GENIUS!!!  At least to me anyway ;)  A few days ago, I got Little Lion up and put him on the floor to change his diaper.  I usually give him something to do so he stays still.  I handed him a hooked on phonics electronic number game.  It looks like a calculator and yes it's odd that it's numbers, but hooked on phonics ;)
Anyway, so I'm not really paying attention to what game his playing.  He got this toy from Grandma on our trip to Hawaii, so he's learning to pick different games and press the buttons.  All of a sudden I hear Marvelous, Great Job, Super!  I think to myself "Wow he is having great luck!"  I continue to listen.  It's find the number game.  "Find the number 7."  LL presses 7.  "Excellent!"  "Find the number 10."  LL presses 10.  "Marvelous!" "Find the number 2."  LL presses 2!  HOLY MOLY!!!!!  He knew all of the numbers!!!!!!!!!!  I've never sat down with him and actually went through the numbers.  We do point them out to him, but never pressured him.  And the crazy part is that HE BARELY TALKS, but knows his numbers????!!!  I feel so proud that he is being a little sponge.  Does this mean he's going to be an engineer??????

PS...It's not a fluke ;)  He still knows them a few days later :)

Vote!!

Did you go out and vote today?  I did! And we only had to wait 5 minutes.  That is one of the perks of staying home!!

I like election day!  The excitement of seeing the outcomes thrills me every time!  I'm anxious to see who our new President will be!  I can't wait to watch the ticker tonight!

If you haven't vote, do it NOW!!!!!!

Dinosaur Pull-Apart Cake

Since I'm infamously *known* for my cakes :)  I thought I'd blog about my creation this evening.  Tomorrow is Mr. E's coworker's birthday.  I had bought a while back a pull-apart dinosaur cupcake pan for 75% off ;)  I thought I'd use it for Little Lion's 2nd birthday.  Tonight was the perfect time to try it out.  Plus boys don't care what their cake looks like as long as it tastes good. Using the 50% off Halloween cake mix minus the orange and brown confetti, I made the cake in this pan.
I took out the pieces.  As you can see it stuck to the pan even though I floured it.  I put the pieces together.  So when you serve the guests they just need to pull a section...no knives :)
I fixed the part that was stuck in the pan by glueing it back together.  The glue is frosting ;)
Next I used black frosting liner to outline the arms and feet.  He also needed eyes and a mouth.
Then I intended to use the ziplock bag trick to frost it.  That is when you put the frosting in a baggie and cut the tip.  However, the frosting I bought was too creamy for it to work well.  So I just good ole frosted it.
Finally for the finishing touch, we added Skittles to the dinosaur's body.  Sorry it's sideways...you get the point ;)
He needed to get a gift too.  We went to my favorite store....Target :)  And I have to brag on our deals!  We bought him a wine refrigerator for $50!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It was $200!  Score!!!

Ahoy Stinky!!!

I promise this is my last Halloween post;o)  Little Lion had a great day yesterday!  We went to SeaWorld in the morning to trick or treat and look at the animals.  In the evening we decided to go trick or treating in the neighborhood.  In order to do that, Little Lion needed to put his costume on.  You've already seen the Skunk costume, but he was NOT wearing it again.  If he sees the costume, he started screaming and running.  So we decided to be sneaky.   Mr. E was throwing LL in the air and I caught him in the bodysuit ;)  Whoo who!  However, he was NOT putting the hat on.  So we had to improvise.  I took his baseball hat which he loves to wear and put a skull and crossbones over the front design and LL wore his Pirates of the Caribbean Crocs.  That is how he became the Pirate Skunk ;)  A mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do ;)

I hope your Halloween was spooky!  I can't wait until next year!

Our Graveyard!

Our lovely HOA, yelled at us because we had dead grass in the front yard.  So we used it to our advantage for this Halloween season.  We...Mr. E.....cleared out the grass.  We weren't sure when the new sod was coming, but found out today that it'll be here Tuesday.  We needed to find a way to keep the trick o treaters out of the dirt and spice it up a bit.  We took our bones and scattered them in the dirt.  Then we got caution tape to put around it.  I said we needed tombstones...My husband lies here;o)..... but Mr. E thought it should look like we excavated the bones out.  His idea was easier, but I thought we should add a shovel for the full effect.  Here is our scary graveyard.
Happy Mischief Night.....Don't get into too much trouble!

Babies, Babies, and a Lucky Mom ;)

Well what was three went to two went to one.  Remember my birthday party in August with the 3 pregnant ladies, and then R popped a beautiful baby boy.  Well my friend and blogger buddy T had her gorgeous daughter 3.5 weeks early!!!!!  Lucky girl!!!
Little Isa was so sweet and tiny, but healthy:)  Mom was looking great!  She was concerned she wouldn't look as good as we did when we had babies ;)  I think every Mom has a happy glow after giving birth.  The pure happiness does wonder to the skin!  Her Husband S was already a pro at getting Little Isa into a burrito and calming her down.  Look how proud he is ;)  You know what they say A Little Girl Always Loves her Daddy the Most ;)

My group of teacher friends, better known as the Yayas, were there.  So of course we needed a group shot.  And I definitely needed to hold Little Isa and all her sweetness!
Do I have baby fever??????  Can I guarantee the baby to be a girl and deliver a healthy baby early????  If yes, then sign me up!!!

It's a Noggin Halloween!

Last night we continued one of our favorite holiday competitions...I mean traditions :)  Mr. E and I started carving pumpkins our first year dating and have been carving them ever since.  We have started to get a little bit competitive with our designs and they have gotten better and better each year.  Back in the early years we made the common jack o 'lantern with triangle eyes and nose and a goofy grin.  Then we started with easy patterns that were given in the pumpkin carving kit.  And then we moved onto more difficult patterns that we got off the internet (for free of course).  In order to do intricate designs you need pumpkin carving tools which we add to our collection every year after Halloween.  We have fancy knifes and a huge pumpkin scraper.  Well this year we decided to do carve designs that Little Lion would like and recognize.  That would be Dora the Explorer and Moose A. Moose.  Nickjr.com had patterns, but after looking at them, you'd have to have specific tools and be very careful to not break the pumpkin since it had such skinny cutouts.  We were up for the challenge.  I decided to make Dora.  I thought hmmmm I'm going to tweak the stencil by making the cutouts bigger to allow more light through and it'd be harder to break the pumpkin.  Mr. E said he had an idea and was going to try it the way it was given.  I thought to myself, "Yes My pumpkin will be better than his!!!"  Guess what Mr. E goes and gets??? His dremmel (sp) power tool!!!!!  I think he cheated ;)  Here are the final products.

Who made the better pumpkin???????

No I Don't Like Candy Corn

If you have a toddler then you know what I'm talking about!  Noggin the preschool channel has 2 characters that introduce shows and do little skits.  They are Moose A Moose and Zee.  Little Lion LOVES Moose and Zee.  He will stop whatever he is doing to STARE at the TV.  Yes we watch TV here....pass me the Mother of the Year Award ;)
Well for the month of October their little song is No, I don't like Candy Corn. Boy is it a catchy diddy! I've been singing it everyday...ALL DAY! Mr. E even knows the words. Here is the video...enjoy. I warn you it is addictive!

We LOVE Halloween!!

Yes 2 posts in a few days!  What can I say....we LOVE Halloween here.  It all started a few years ago when our neighbors went crazy with Christmas lights.  The neighbor even put in extra outlets to work with his *display*.  He had the entire house lit up with a blow up Santa and reindeer on the roof and xmas trees lining the driveway with light up presents under them.  It was like living next to the Griswalds!  Our one string of lights didn't even compare.  Now if you know my husband you know that he is competitive!  Of course we couldn't compete with Christmas, which started our Halloween decorating tradition :)  We add a little every year....after Halloween when it's 50% off.  Here is the inside of the house....we only do the front room since that's all the trick or treaters can see.  Mr. E thought I was demented hanging the bears, but hey it's supposed to be scary ;)

Here is the outside...the real head turner.  Whoooooooooo  SCARY!!!!!

As you can see we have pumpkin patch with bones and skulls scattered around.  Also we have blinking eyes looking at you in the bushes.  There is a huge spider in the window and skulls in the others staring at you.  And my favorite, Marcus the Carcass, buried in the stones trying to get out.  However, the scariest part is hovering above the garage....
Little Lion loves looking at him surprisingly and likes to give high fives to Marcus.  Halloween will sure be a favorite for the whole family...now if only LL would wear his costume ;)

More Halloween Fun

Yesterday we ventured over to SeaWorld for their Halloween activities.  It was cute!  They had lots and lots of candy to give away....good stuff too like Swedish Fish and Sour Patch Kids and some random stuff too like bananas and peanuts.  They had fish themed characters along the way that you could get your picture with and a DJ spinning Halloween hits.  Little Lion was not a fan of the characters, but we did get a picture with a fishy pumpkin.  Sorry for the bad quality since it's from Mr. E's phone.
Today I decided I should figure out what Little Lion should be for Halloween. Now you know that I'm a bargain shopper and yes I bought LL a costume after Halloween last year. However, I"m not sure what I was thinking cuz it's a 12-18 month size. I guess the bargain got the best of me :) I thought I'll try it on for fun and here's how cute he was.

He's a stinky kid!!!!! It is pretty cute for the bargain bottom price of $3 ;)  But as you can tell LL was not fond of the costume especially the head piece.  So I'm not sure if that is what he'll be....I have a few other cheap ideas up my sleeve.

And for fun.  Here are my favorite Halloween costumes from 2 years ago.  Mr. E was the headless horseman and I was his pumpkin head....or should I say Little Lion was his pumpkin head ;)
Halloween is only 12 days away....Are you ready?????
