Monkey See, Monkey Do...Really!

See my last blog post below, yup Little Lion is still loving Flower Power's toys. However, this time he wanted to climb into the crib with her!! Notice how sweet LL was to bring his favorite Monkey with him for her. Flower Power thought it was so funny laying next to LL and Monkey! Here's another picture, but less blurry. I had to show the FP's laughter though :)Did you notice Flower Power's super long monkey toes??? (Mr.E says I have monkey toes too, so she got that from me ;) Yes, I'm THAT Mom :) Not Toddlers and Tiaras Mom, but a little girly ;) The polish is named Iris upon a Star :)And just because she's cute and getting so big...

Everyone Loves Bumbo!

Little Lion only had ONE day of school this week which means Mommy was entertaining 2 kids all week. I've been having to figure out how to give LL attention while keeping FP happy. I was thinking Flower Power is starting to get stronger with holding her head. So I would bring out the Bumbo seat for her to sit in and watch LL playing with me. She did great in it for a bit, but her head flops over after a bit though. FP is always so smiley! So I took her out. Little Lion asks to sit in it. I say "No way! You're too big!" He informs me he's not. I said fine go ahead try, fully thinking there was no way he'd fit. HE DID!! And he LOVED it!!So this is how they played, FP on her floor mat watching big brother looking crazy in the Bumbo ;)

3 Generations of Shopping!

My Mom celebrated her birthday this past Thursday. We had a lovely day of shopping the Target 75% off toy sale and going out to eat with the family :) Here is our loot from the day. I spent $150. The wagon was only half off though which was $40. I got 20 toys.

After a crazy shopping spree we can home to rest and then headed out to dinner. Here is my beautiful Mom (she reads the blog, so I have to say that :) and Flower Power. The 3 girls :) We are grooming FP early to shop for deals!!
Little Lion and Flower Power's Grandparents and Mr.E. LL wasn't in the mood for his picture.
We had a great day celebrating with my Mom! We are going bowling tomorrow to continue the celebration because LL thinks that you should have a bowling party for your birthday ;) haha

Wipeout!

Little Lion's FAVORITE TV show is Wipeout! Its a game show where contestants face obstacles and most likely will wipeout while doing them. He loves the big balls! It's where the contestant has to jump from ball to ball to get to the other side.
LL enjoys reenacting this fun game on his trampoline. I take sidewalk chalk and draw 4 circles which he jumps onto. On this morning he's still wearing his jammies(yes I'm that mom that lets him play outside in the fenced in backyard in PJ's) and his cheese hat or as LL calls it his cheese helmet.

Sometimes he makes it across and sometimes he WIPESOUT!!! All on purpose of course.
Mommy has to play too....in her jammies;o) I suggest watching the show! It's crazy to see these poor contestants crashing and wipingout all for $50,000.

Playing

Little Lion and Flower Power play so well together! LL bosses and FP listens :) Here they are in LL's ball pit.
LL also really likes FP's floor mat! He thinks it's so cool that they are next to each other and she looks at him while he pushes the toys.

Yes that is a smile!!! A big ole gummy one;o)

The Many Faces of Flower Power

She has so many expressions! It cracks me up! I can even get a smile out of her once in a while, but she's stingy, and I haven't gotten a good one yet on camera! Here she is telling me all of her problems with her face!

What are you looking at lady??

You are taking pictures of me again trying to catch a smile...yeah right!

Really, a hood??? I know you think I'm a gnome, but come on!!

Ok fine take my picture, but I'm NOT smiling!!

I love that her little personality at 5 weeks old is starting to come out!

HULK!!!

For Little Lion's birthday celebration at school, I decided to make LL's favorite superhero cupcakes...HULK! I'm really not a creative person, but I'm a great google-er (yes I made that word up)! I borrowed an idea and made these!

GRRRRRR...Hulk has Big Muscles and is Mean!!! But as LL says, "He's a good guy that gets the bad ones!"

Going to the Gym

No this is NOT my New Years resolution! We got Flower Power a play gym for the floor. I did keep Little Lion's, however, it was recalled. So I got to get a PINK play gym for her since I don't have to save it for the next kid :) Here's a video of her first visit to the gym.

The BIG 4!

Today is Little Lion's 4th birthday!!! This past year has brought many big changes. LL started talking and now doesn't stop. He still loves music, but has taken an interest in sports. LL amazes me daily with his ability to read words and spell. He truly enjoys these things without me pushing him :) He is very social and likes to play with his friends. He is still Mamma's boy and loves to snuggle! Little Lion has become a wonderful big brother! He kisses Flower Power every time she cries "to make her happy!" I love him more and more each day!

Every year we take a picture next to his birthday lion to see how much he grows.
He started out the day playing with his big present from us...a swing set!

We celebrated by having a bowling party with 8 of LL's friends.

I made bowling ball cupcakes for the occasion!
They were a hit!

Everyone sang to LL! He REALLY enjoyed his cupcake!

Little Lion had such a great time. He even had to bowl when he got home!
Yes Flower Power was there and like Christmas...she slept :) But I managed to get one of her awake before we left the house.
What a great birthday! I can't wait until next December when our birthday season starts again :) Love my favorite little boy!! So sweet!!
