Wii Fit Plus

Yes the slacker blogger in me has come out this holiday season :) I still haven't downloaded the Christmas pictures off the camera! But we had a great Christmas and hope you did too!!! I'll have to start off the new year with a better blogging attitude and get back on the wagon!

For Christmas, Santa brought me Wii Fit Plus. All of us have had a great time playing the new games. Little Lion even has a new favorite game. He likes the Pink game as he calls it. It's meant to work on hand-eye coordination. You stand on the wii board and hold the remote. There are two levels where the balls fall. The top level you control with your remote and the bottom level you control by leaning on the board. The object is to get the balls into their corresponding color. Little Lion is quite ready for both the remote and the board. So we can to the compromise of me controlling the remote and LL leaning on the board. He is actually pretty good :) Here he is showing off his skills. Don't mind the notorious no pants LL or the mess on the floor :) You can see he gets the ball in at every firework!

Wii fit problem!

I think there is something wrong with our wii fit!! So Friday night Mr. E and I had a date night planned. My mom came over to babysit Little Lion. She arrived here early, and we decided to wii fit it up. My mom is a young 61 years old. She enjoys hula hooping on the wii fit. Mom is getting better at it, but not even close to 1st place....she's in 9th ;) But hey you have to give her props for even working at it. So far up to this point she has only done the hula hooping. I suggested she try another game. She decided to do the tight rope walking. This is where you have to balance on the board while *walking* stepping up and down without tipping over. Now Mr. E and I have each only gotten across once without falling hundreds of feet off the rope. Wouldn't you know Mom gets across the thing on her 1st try!!!! And then proceeds to do it again breaking all of our records!!!!! I think the wii fit must be broke! How could my 61 year old mother beat me and Mr. E????? All I can say is that she has been gloating since and won't let us forget. I say the wii fit *MUST* be broke :) Ok off to attempt to break the record ;)

Wii fit update

I bet you are wondering how my wii fit workout has been going.  Well, I haven't lost or gained any weight in 3 weeks.  I have, however, managed to be as young as 21 and as old as 49 as my wii fit age. I wonder how this is an accurate picture of my strength.  I have unlocked most of the activities expect 3.  And to Mr. E's dismay, I'm pretty much number 1 in all of the activities :)  But to his defense, the novelty of the wii fit has worn off and he hasn't used it in a while....like in 2 weeks.  Well we'll know who will be in Hawaii shape and who will not.  This will be us.

DISCLAIMER:  Mr. E is not even close to being this big and there is no way in H3LL would I wear a thong in public :)  And of course I love Mr. E just the way he is ;)

I'm skinny, but OLD!!

So I've been wii fitting it up now for a few days.  My weight is low normal and normal BMI :)  Woot Woot!!  However, my first time taking the body test was not so good.  I was 44 years old!!!! As most of you know, I'm going to be 30 this year.  Shocker!!!  I'm 14 years older in my body balance.  UGGGHHH  That was the 21st.  Yesterday after trying out most of the games and getting a feel for the balance board, I tried the body test again....AGE.....34!!!  I'm better than the show Ten Years Younger....I managed it in 1 day and cost me nothing :)  Today, I am 30 years old!!  If I keep this up I'll be 21 by next week :)

Wii fit

Well today is release day of the new Wii Fit game.  Yes I went out and got one for Mr. E and I to get in shape for our trip to Hawaii.  Let's see what this game can actually do for us.  I think I'll post my stats and progress.  We also bought Wii Ski.  We need some winter sports in the 90 degree temps of Florida.  Of course I haven't been able to try it out yet since Mr. E *needs* to be home and the first to try it.  I like that it helps with balance and core strengths.  My posture isn't the greatest so I'd like to strengthen up my core muscles and get those boobs to stick out. Pam Anderson watch out!!!!  LOL :)
