Love Fall in Florida!

The weather is starting to cool down in the evenings here in Florida. You know to 85 :) We love playing outside as a family and especially love it when the temps are perfect like they are now! Here is a typical evening at our house. Little Lion kicking around the ball.

Flower Power loves her swing! And just for fun a comparison picture from June and now. Yes she has gotten chunky and tall in 3 months!!! She loves her some real food!!!

Can't wait to enjoy this weather for the next couple of months!

Champions!

Here is a picture of Little Lion and Mr.E ready for the Orlando City Lions vs. Harrisburg Islanders championship soccer game! They have gone to many games this season and have enjoyed the Big Boy time with Mr.E's brothers.
Orlando City WON in the most riveting game EVER as my husband told me:) They even bought season tickets for next year.

Mongoose!

Have I blogged about how much I LOVE Target???? I'm sure I have a few times:) My most recent deal was a Mongoose bike for Little Lion for $18!!!!!!!!!!!!! 75% off baby!!! I was actually looking for the Spiderman bike to get marked down and had gone to a few Targets, but instead found this one! Little Lion and Mr.E were extremely excited!
LL even helped put it together.
Since it was dark out once the bike was finished, LL had to take the Mongoose for a spin around the house:)

Yes readers, I do know LL should have a helmet on, but how could he wear it when Flower Power has it.
Can't wait for both of them to be cruising around the neighborhood!

First Day of PreK!

Yippee! The day has FINALLY arrived!! School is here! Little Lion started PreK today. He woke up excited that he was going to school, but then quickly realized Momma was going to take millions of pictures and rush him through his morning routine. Here his is eating breakfast...happily.
After getting dressed and teeth brushed. He HAD to play some Monopoly. He's obsessed!
I decided to try and get pictures outside in the back. In LL's mind that means play soccer.
Finally it was time to go. We got a few good ones in the front. See the excitement on his face????

Little Lion is ready to go into school! Me too!!
LL had to find his apple to show he was present.
Finally in class and time to play Playdough!
I'm sure his first day is going to be great. He wasn't even concerned I was leaving which is good. I feel confident he is ready! Plus Mommy is ready to spend some time with Flower Power alone :)

Meet the Teacher

PreK is almost here!! Mamma can't wait!! Little Lion on the other hand is probably ready to stay home some more:) He starts school tomorrow. This is the 3rd year LL has been at this preschool. He is the big man on campus:) Last week we went to Meet the Teacher. Here is how we entice (bribe) the teacher.It says Wishing you a Marvelous and Magnificent school year with M&M's.
How did I get Little Lion into the classroom? With his favorite past time...weather! I think he's going to be a meteorologist when he grows up. He checks the radar daily!
Then he saw Dad's favorite store play area...Home Depot!Then he decided to warm up a bit with his teacher Mrs.Jennings by showing her the weather:)

I'm sure he'll do great this year! I look forward to this being his last year before he starts the BIG school with all the fun he'll have:)

9 Months!

Whoa! Flower Power is 9 months today!! That means we are heading to ONE quickly!! Seriously where does the time go?!?!?!
Flower Power is such a sweet girl! She continues to talk (babble). FP likes to voice her opinion and everyone knows it! She is pretty friendly with people. Her favorite toys are her shopping cart, xylophone, my cellphone, and most recently a soccer ball. She thinks she can walk which means crawling is out the door. She always pulls up on us and grabs our fingers so she can walk to where she wants to go. FP is going to be a move and shaker! She enjoys dancing and waves her hand whenever a good dance song comes on. FP loves watching her brother and trying to do whatever he is doing. Hence her new love of soccer. She even kicks the ball. No teeth yet, but lots of drooling and chewing. I suspect they'll start this month. Flower Power is definitely a girl! She really enjoyed putting on this dress and shoes and bow. What have I gotten myself into??? ;)

We'll be taking some official 9 month pictures with Dena again soon. I'm sure she'll be as cute as ever!!

Like Father, Like Son

This is how I found my 2 boys the other day.
Look at them both snuggle a piece of blanket/pillow, hands in the same place, and both out cold. So sweet! Love them!!!
