Legoland Florida

On Saturday, we got to finally checkout Legoland! We had free tickets thanks to Orlando City Soccer. If you went to certain games, you were able to use that ticket to get into Legoland for FREE since they are a OSC sponsor.

The first stop was the double decker merry go round! We were on the top!

While LL and Mr.E hit up some rides, FP and I played on the playground and wrestled some scary wolves!

LL and Mr.E went for a boat ride. FP is an inch too short for this:( She was mad!! We had to watch from the sidelines.

And when you are sad and mad, you get thrown to the blocks!

After a quick lunch we headed to the waterpark. I didn't take any pictures since iphones and water don't mix well. However, we had a blast! The kids both liked the small water slides and LL even went down a bigger kid slide! We liked the wave pool and lazy river! Plus the water was warm!!! I love warm water!!! On our way back to the car we stopped at Miniland. It's amazing the buildings made from legos!! Here was LL's favorite...Kennedy Space Center!

Legoland is the perfect park for the 4-9 year old range! The rides are fun and not scary. The wait is not long to get on them. And they have the waterpark area to cool off. We'll be heading back again soon...again thanks to Orlando City Soccer :)

Summer in Review

Ok Ok I've taken the summer off!  We have been busy, busy and doing lots of fun stuff!!!!  Here are a bunch of summer pictures!!

Day 35 POOL IS OPEN!!

After waiting a LOOOONNNGGGG 4 days for the chemicals to stabilize, we were finally able to go into the pool!!

They are still a few things that need to be finished around the pool. The Bobcat had to come back and clear all the junk away and level the land with some nice dirt.

Now we need to do irrigation and add sod which won't be done until later next week. BUT we can still swim :) Love having a pool!! The kids love it too! We've been averaging 3 swims a day! How could we have survived summer without a pool for so long???

Love Fall in Florida!

The weather is starting to cool down in the evenings here in Florida. You know to 85 :) We love playing outside as a family and especially love it when the temps are perfect like they are now! Here is a typical evening at our house. Little Lion kicking around the ball.

Flower Power loves her swing! And just for fun a comparison picture from June and now. Yes she has gotten chunky and tall in 3 months!!! She loves her some real food!!!

Can't wait to enjoy this weather for the next couple of months!

End of Summer Fun

We are down to our last week of summer vacation. This past week we've been doing a few fun things around the house.

I made Little Lion a cape out of an old Tshirt. I've become a BIG fan of pinterest.com. I've gotten a lot of good ideas on it. So from here I followed directions (pictures:) It is VERY easy and I like easy!!

LL is going to school 4 days a week and I'm trying to expand LL's food repertoire.
He did try the ham, but not the bread. Hey it's progress.

LL reads really well as I've shown you in past blog posts. He, however, is not a fan of writing. We've been practicing daily. I wrote Dad. And one of my proudest Mom moments, LL wrote my name:)

Summer was fun, but I am ready for school to start. I understand now why Mom's are jumping at the bit for school. It's hard to entertain all day, every day. And this is why Mom's rock!

Box!

Flower Power is growing like a weed....haha pun intended;o) That means she is outgrowing her clothes! And there is A LOT of them!!! So I need to pack them away. This brings me to The Box.

Airhockey!

Sorry I've been a bad blogger lately! It's been busy busy with all the birthdays and the family coming and going. Hopefully with school right around the corner, I'll be blessed with more time....ie..blogging :)

Airhockey is Little Lion's newest obsession! He wants to play it whenever he sees a table and it's on his Christmas list! He's actually pretty good at it. He usually wins. Here he is playing with his cousin A.

Summer Fun!

We have been enjoying the cooler weather in the evening here....you know 85 degrees :) Hello Florida!! Flower Power has been fascinated by bubbles. She's not quite sure what to make of them! Her face says it all in this picture!

And the afternoon showers don't stop the fun!
I scored a fun summer deal at my favorite store....Target! A picnic table that also is a water/sand table. I don't do mud so water it is. Flower Power and Little Lion have enjoyed it!

Just think summer is half way done already and we are only 6 months until Christmas! Time flies!!!
