VPK Graduation

Sorry I've been MIA....been in the pool too much :) And I have so much to blog about that it is actually overwhelming!! So I'll start with Graduation. The school holds a graduation celebration for all the VPKers. Each class sings a couple songs and they get a diploma. They walked down the aisle to sit on the stage with their class.

They sang their songs....Little Lion was NOT interested in that part! Such a boy!!

 Then each student was called up to their teachers to receive their diploma.

 After we were treated to cake and punch.

 Little Lion had a fantastic teacher this year! I love her and hope Flower Power will have her in 4 years!

 We had to take family pictures to document this BIG success :) haha

 It was a memorable evening! It's amazing how big he is getting, and I can't believe he's going to Kindergarten in a few short months!

Day 35 POOL IS OPEN!!

After waiting a LOOOONNNGGGG 4 days for the chemicals to stabilize, we were finally able to go into the pool!!

They are still a few things that need to be finished around the pool. The Bobcat had to come back and clear all the junk away and level the land with some nice dirt.

Now we need to do irrigation and add sod which won't be done until later next week. BUT we can still swim :) Love having a pool!! The kids love it too! We've been averaging 3 swims a day! How could we have survived summer without a pool for so long???

Day 31 Pool Install....Equipment ON!

Today after Little Lion swam....with the bugs in the hose water with no chemicals...Pool guy came over to turn on the equipment and add the chemicals. Here are the waterfall and bubbler. We have deck shooters too, but he didn't have them on yet.

 Now we wait....til Friday to swim. The torture!!!!!!

 It is so pretty and wonderful! I can't wait to dip my toes!!

Day 29-30 Pool Install....Interior!

This past weekend, Mr.E and I ditched the kids with the grandparents and heading south to Hard Rock Seminole (post coming). While we were gone, I put my Dad in charge of taking pictures of the install. And boy did he take it to heart!! I had 50 pictures!!! Since I wasn't here, I can only give you the detail in pictures:) We didn't know exactly when the installers where arriving, so my Dad missed the beginning stages of the Pebble Tek. But here it was when they got home.
 Then they did the acid wash and brushing of the Pebble Tek. It got a little smokey.

And then WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr.E and I got home just at the exciting time :) More water!! We had the hose on from 9-midnight and then 7-9 in the morning. Notice the dark sky!! And sunrise!!

 Up next is the turning on of the equipment and adding the chemicals!!!

Last day of Pre K!!

I only shed a few tears because my baby finished up Pre K today and is leaving the only school he has known and we've been a part of for the past 3 years.  He has grown so much and learned way more than I could have taught.  The teachers he has had have been phenomenal! For that I am extremely grateful!

Not too big of a difference. A little taller, happier that school is ending then beginning:) And because he was sooo excited that he is going to kindergarten....

I love Little Lion so much and I AM happy he is growing and learning and turning into a fantastic little boy!
