Baby Blues!

I know most babies are born with blue eyes. Little Lion's were, as are Flower Power's. However, Little Lion's are now brown like his Dad's...full of sh!t as he says ;) I wonder what hers will turn to?? Mine are hazel to the green side. Mr.E's like I said are brown, as are his father's, but his Mom and all of Mr.E's brothers are baby blue. My Mom has blue eyes. My Dad has hazel as are my brother's. Did you follow that??? So you would think Flower Power has a good chance of having light eyes. But that darn dominant brown gene may win out. We'll have to wait and see. Little Lion's eye turned around 9 months. But in the mean time, check out those baby blues...and sh!tty brown (just kidding ;)

Pool Time!

It's finally (yes, I say that bragging for my northern friends...haha) warm enough for the pool :) Little Lion loves and the pool and Flower Power loves the bath. So I figured she'd love the pool too. We went to my parents' pool since they heat it to 85 :) Here is my cutie baby in her swimsuit!
We put a big ole hat on her to keep the sun out. She loved it!
You must think the water tastes delicious since her hands were always in her mouth! It's salt water, no chlorine, no worries people! Here are the bathing beauties!
Spending time with Grandma and PopPop was a blast!!!

When we got out, my Mom brought LL his new cool Spider towel and was giving LL's old lion hooded towel to FP. LL had a fit! He wanted his lion towel...he is a lion after all:) So here's FP snuggled with SPIDERS!!
And what happens after your first time in the pool?? A big long nap!!
I can't wait to go again and neither can the kids!! Welcome warm Florida weather!!

I Can Do Anything, You Can Do, Better

Remember Little Lion loving Flower Power's toys and Bumbo seat? Well he decided this week that he could fit into her INFANT carseat.
Just as he is enamored with her stuff, she is very enamored with HIM!

I'm sure this will continue;o)

Little Lion still likes holding Flower Power. This time I put her laying on her belly on him...I gotta get tummy time in anyway I can :)
Then she decided she was gonna get him.
Aww the start of sibling rivalry :)

Jumperoo

Flower Power is just starting to get into toys and loves to stand up. So I decided to get out Little Lion's jumperoo. Mr.E had tried putting FP into it a few weeks ago and she just cried, cried, cried. However, this time she was enthralled.


I love watching her checking out new toys and getting excited to play with them! And Little Lion has been enjoying playing with the jumperoo as well! He must have fond memories from when he was her age bouncing around :)

Styling

Yup my daughter has trendier clothes than me! Isn't she too cute!!! The boots, the skinny jeans, and the necklace shirt...oh my :) My Mother-in-law bought Flower Power some velcro bows. Here is my little model.I am definitely enjoying having a girl!!!

There Once Was a Girl with a Little Curl!

It all started with this. Look what a good big brother Little Lion is washing sister!
Then we get out to dry.
I brush her hair and this happens.
I think it is the cutest thing E.V.E.R! However, this is what Flower Power thinks.
I may have a thing for curls since my hair is naturally curly and would love a daughter with sweet curls too. However, I do straighten my hair occasionally :) Thanks John Freda 3 day semi permanent hair straightener!!

Florida Sun

Well it's that time of year where everyone comes to Florida...why you ask? Because of the wonderful weather! My kids are ready!!!!

Big Kids!

My baby is already a quarter of a year old as I posted last week!!! My wonderfully talented friend Dena who is starting up her photography business took some more pictures of Flower Power. Of course we had to put her in LOTS of headbands! Here are a few of my favorites!




Dena even managed to get Little Lion and Flower Power together! Look how sweet he is looking at her :) Makes me melt!!!

Happy 3 Month Birthday FP!! And Dr.Suess!

Today is the 2nd which means my baby is a QUARTER of the year old already!!!!!! I can't believe it!! Flower Power is growing by leaps and bounds! She is sleeping 7-9 hours at night, giggling, rolling over, and starting to grab things with her hands! She loves to be sung too and kissed. FP still is a stinker for Daddy when he tries to put her to sleep, but loves when he *plays* with her. Here she is!


You may have noticed her very attractive outfit ;) It's Dr. Seuss' birthday today! At Little Lion's school they are celebrating by having Wacky Wednesday. He wanted to pose with his sister.
We also took professional pictures again. I'll post those soon!

Daddy Love

Mr. E is a great Dad!! He loves the kids and they love him! Mr.E plays great with Little Lion and usually wears him out with his crazy antics...you saw Dance Party USA video!! Mr.E doesn't play as well with babies, but loves Flower Power and tries to sing songs to her even though he doesn't know the words :) Here he is trying out our new Beco Gemini which I love waaaaayyyyyyyy better than the Bjorn! This one is my new favorite of the two of them.
