Halloween Parade
This is the first year that LL has actually gotten into Halloween costumes and what he was going to be. At first he couldn't make up his mind. It was Hulk, School Glue, a Ghost, a Crying Pumpkin, and finally he decided on Mario from Super Mario Brothers. Mr. E wanted to buy the costume, but I thought hey this is an easy costume to make! A red shirt (got it), jean overalls (borrowed it), and a red hat (took a free one from the Home Depot paint department and spray painted it) and added the white M.
Sounds good doesn't it. Well the day of LL's school Halloween Parade, he DOESN'T want to wear any of it!!!!!!!!!!! After tears from all parties involved (yes pregnancy hormones are in full force), LL just wore a red shirt and jean shorts. He wouldn't even wear the hat for me. However, when his class came out. He did have the hat on. At least he kind of looked like Mario.
Here is his class and teacher when they first came out.
A close up of Mario. Can you tell he still didn't really want to wear his costume??
They then walked through the pumpkin patch. However, the M blew off in the wind. There goes the costume all together. (Really I tried!)
Here's LL realizing that his M is gone. LL and his friend C were really upset it was gone. But no fear, Mommy found the M in the parking lot and I'll hot glue it on for trick or treating ;)
Hopefully on Halloween, LL will want to wear his full costume and give me some better pictures of his cuteness!
After school, LL's friend C came over. The boys started their own band...The Mario Buzz Band!! Good name, huh???

Woah Baby!!
Today I went to a friend's baby shower and I decided to wear the same dress that I wore to my shower with Little Lion. Mr.E and I thought it would be fun to take comparison pictures. The first picture is from LL at almost 31 weeks. The second is at 32 weeks exactly.
Ummmm yeah I'm a little bigger!!! Here is more of a side view of the belly.
My belly's roundness looks the same though. I thought boys and girls make different belly shapes?? And just for fun. My outfit for the fall festival today.

Pumpkin Patch
Little Lion's school/church has a pumpkin patch every October. We went today with some friends. LL had a blast even though it's hard to get into the fall spirit when it's 90 degrees out!!! LL enjoyed running through the pumpkin aisles! I had a hard time getting him to stop!
The pumpkin patch had a story time and the kids were able to color while listening.I was even there :) No that's not a mask I'm wearing, but a pregnant face ;)After story time, the kids got to pick out there own pumpkin.
The kids were given stickers to decorate their pumpkin. LL likes to make sad pumpkins.
LL and his friend C enjoyed playing together.
We even got to see the visitor at the church...a wild turkey!!! I thought we were hearing fall sounds from the church speakers, but in reality it was the turkey gobbling :)
The boys had so much fun together that we ended up going over to C's house for lunch and an impromptu playdate. The boys were being so silly! All in all we had a great day! And LL is napping now which makes this tired, pregnant Momma happy :)

Haunted House
Can you believe it's taken me until mid October to post about Halloween??? Usually we've done a ton of Halloween events by now, but our calendar has been busy. We did start decorating our house a few weeks ago, and are now just finishing up. We've added a few scary items this year. First off Little Lion wanted to stand in our pumpkin patch next to the black light up cat. Here is the house from the front. Our new scary mummy which replaces the hibiscus plants that used to be in front of the window. See the eyes in the tree too. Ahoy mateys, Pirate bones has invaded our yard too.And lastly you can forget our garage scary guy! LL loves him ;) Mr.E waited to put him up until today because a lot of the little kids in the neighborhood are scared of him. However, it doesn't deter them from stopping for candy on Halloween!Halloween is underway!! I love it!

A Mini Babymoon!
My Mom has wonderful friends!!! One of her friends was unable to use their Daytona Beach timeshare and offered it to them, but my parents were busy the beginning part of the week and offered it to us!!! A free place to stay at Daytona, how could we say no???
We arrived on Sunday to our room not being ready which we figured it wouldn't be, but we wanted to make sure we got an ocean front room. So while we waited we headed out to the pool to watch the Wings and Waves Air Show! The beach was PACKED!! I haven't seen it that busy ever! One of the coolest planes was the Jet. It went up so high that we couldn't see it anymore and would freefall down! Then it would zoom across the beachfront. It was extremely loud, but awesome to feel/hear/see the power of a jet! Little Lion and I enjoying the show when I wasn't covering his ears because of the jet. Then the 9 plane synchronized group came out. They were amazing and totally together! LL liked that they made "clouds" even a heart with 4 planes doing one side and 5 doing the other.
Just as the show ended our room was ready. Here is our view from the 8th floor. We spent the next couple of hours in the pool and then headed to Bubba Gumps for dinner which LL called it "Bubble Gums" ;)
The next morning, LL kept waking up from 5am on asking to put his suit on. He was anxious to get to the beach! The sunrise was gorgeous!! We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. Even Monkey got in on the action ;)
We went down to the pool and beach for the morning.
Flower Power couldn't miss out on the action either!! (Sorry if this offends...big belly ahead!) We headed up to the room to get ready to go to Boondocks for lunch. Here is LL jamming on his new guitar. At Boondocks you can feed the catfish! LL really enjoyed feeding them french fries (yes they said you could!) while he meowed..haha! It was just like our tarpon feeding in the Keys with catfish jumping and literally on top of each other vying for french fries.
After naps for all, we went back to the beach. I love the pictures where the boys shadows are in color because of the ocean water!
The sunlight was perfect. I thought we should take some 30 week maternity pictures of FP. Here's the best we got. LL really just wanted to play in the ocean not take pictures :)
And you can't forget about the Love Birds :)
It's kind of sad to think that this will most likely be our last vacation as a family of three. However, I know our family of 4 will have MANY, MANY more vacations ahead of us to make wonderful memories together!
