Last night was college friend reunion :) My girlfriend, L, is still in town from NY and another college friend, B, who I haven't seen in 2 years came to town. We met at L's timeshare with the hubbies and kiddos. We grilled out and ate a lot while the kids played, played, played.
Our jumping Monkeys first started on the ground hopping.
Then they moved to the bed.
Which lead to being tuckered out.
It was awesome to see everyone again! I'm happy that whenever we're together it feels like we never moved away from each other! Here are the college friends and the kiddos :)

Disney Magic
My good friends with their 2 year old daughter from NY are in town and that means DISNEY! We went to the Magic Kingdom yesterday. The weather was gorgeous and the day was a blast!! One of our first stops was Toon Town so they could see Mickey. Little Lion and I hung out at the playground. Here he is in all of his jumping glory. Then we headed over to Fantasyland. LL rode on the "purple neigh".
The next set of pictures tell a funny story about puppy love between LL and my daughter's friend O.
Boy plays with girl...Girl goes for a hug...Boys goes running to his stroller, but is caught....Ewwww what just happened?? I'm violated :)
After all of this drama ;) LL and O were ready for the parade....or more like ready for a nap.But once the parade started, they enjoyed it especially O. After the parade we headed to the Swiss Family Robinson tree house. LL climbed the entire tree by himself! That's A LOT of stairs!! The funniest part of the day though was when LL got his second wind. We were on our way out and we got stopped by the parade which we had already seen, but LL had a better way of enjoying the parade. I love this kid!!!

Oh Daddy!
On Saturday night, Mr.E and I were sitting in the living room watching Couples Retreat while Little Lion was quietly playing in his room. Mr.E goes in and checks on him every couple of mins or so. I wasn't concerned....foreshadowing people!!! The movie ends and I go see for myself what LL is up to. Here is what I find!Yes my lovely child was coloring with a marker!! How did he get the marker you ask, well Mr.E went into my marker box (every former teacher has one) and gave him one and then LEFT!!!!!!!!! Who leaves a 3 year old unattended with a marker??? Luckily all LL colored was his Wow Wow Wubbzy Balloon. Such an artist :)
And to top it off, Mr.E gave LL a NONWASHABLE marker!!! LL was proud of his "blue hand";o) Here is the before...And the after...On a sweet note which I didn't find out until the next day, the reason Mr.E gave LL the marker is because LL was coloring my Valentine card. Mr.E just didn't take the marker back. I love him, but sometimes he's such a DAD :)

Super Bowl Football Cake
Yup 2 blog posts in 1 day!!! I haven't done this in a while :)
Last night was the Super Bowl. We weren't sure we were going to go to the family party since Mr.E is going out of town for a few days and needed to pack. However, we decided to go until half time. Well our food to bring was dessert. I thought hmmmm I can make a fancy cake and show off a bit ;) I decided to make a football field since it was the easiest and all the things I had in the house. So I started with a sheet cake...yup from the box ;) I tinted the frosting green for grass.Mr.E got in on the action since football fields are NOT my thing :) I used pipecleaners to make the yard lines. I didn't think I could make a straight line with frosting and I could space them out before pushing them into the frosting so it looked even. Mr.E cut off the excess ends. Each team got their own goal area and I put a 50 for the 50 yard line. I did all of this using the good ole frosting in a ziplock bag with the tip cut off. Mr. E constructed goal posts from pipecleaners and I made a football out of.....CALCIUM CHEWS....haha :) It's all I had that was brown and I could mold it...hey it was last minute ;) I did warn all the party goers :)And the final product. It was a hit at the party and everyone enjoyed the cake minus the pipecleaners and football :)

Disney VoluntEAR
Last weekend, Mr.E and I decided to volunteer for Disney's Give a Day, Get a Day. You have to sign up for a volunteer activity in your area and in turn they'll send you a FREE day to any Disney park. Since we live in Florida, we took the opportunity to get a day.....Disney's not cheap!!!!
We volunteered for Give A Kid A Backpack. It's an organization that receives donated new backpacks, school supplies, and toiletries. They put them together and then send them off to Central America students.
However when we got there, we ended up working with another organization that shares warehouse space with GaKaB. They get all the used soap and toiletries from hotels and repurify them and package them then sending them to 3rd world countries. Our job that day was to help organize and pack. The charity usually deals with soap, but since the Haiti earthquake, they had been receiving tons of supplies to be shipped there. We had to organize medical supplies, baby supplies, household goods, toiletries, and other misc stuff onto pallets. I should have taken a before picture because there was SO MUCH stuff filling up the entire corner of this huge warehouse. Here is the outcome though. We worked hard!!
After we finished we headed over to the GaKaB section and helped them out. I got smarter and took a few more pictures ;) Here is the assembly line of volunteers stuffing toiletries for the backpacks. Next we stuffed the toiletries and school supplies in the backpacks and put them back in the boxes to be shipped off.Mr.E's main job was to tape the boxes and get them on the pallet. My job was to keep count of the number of backpacks on each pallet. In total the volunteers packed and stuffed 734 backpacks!!! For just a few hours of work, we will have helped at least a 1000 people with all the supplies to Haiti and the backpacks for the kids! Awesome feeling!!!
