The Sharks!
Little Lion's 2nd soccer season is coming to an end. Only 1 game left. He's done MUCH better than last season! He stays on the field for most of practice and usually for the game. He likes the goal best. They have won about half of their games. The coach is a good guy who tries to include all the kids too. I think LL has enjoyed it. Here are the Sharks with my child looking like he's picking his nose!
Dena at Everyday Moments Photography who took Flower Power's pictures also took the soccer pictures too. Here is my superstar NOT picking his nose:)
As much as we enjoyed soccer, I think we are going to give T-ball a try in the fall. That way LL can spend a season with the little ones still before moving up to the bigger kids, and see if he's going to follow in his father's footsteps in playing baseball ;)

Slip n Slide
Last year we bought a slip n slide which Mr.E and LL enjoyed a lot! Last time he would only go down it on his butt. This year on his belly face first!!! Big kid! And yes my other Big Kid still is crazy :)
However, we did learn after the fun that LL is allergic to grass;( Mr.E had just cut the grass earlier in the day. The combination of it being freshly cut and sliding into it, led LL to have have a super runny nose and the sneezes. Lesson learned for next to wait a day after cutting and Allegra before hand!

Orlando City Soccer Boy Time!
While I wallowed in my sickness, Mr. E and Uncle Ben too Little Lion to an Orlando City Soccer game. Mr. E has tried to encourage Little Lion to play soccer by going to games. Saturday night was a game. The rain didn't scare the boys off! LL was excited to wear his rain boots and hoodie ;)
I think LL enjoys hanging out with the big boys and acting like a goof :)

Motherly Love
To continue with Mother's WEEK ;) We spent Mother's day at my parents' house to hang out by the pool and have dinner. Here I am with my 2 favorite little people!
Here are the Moms and Flower Power or better known as 3 generations of lovelies:)
Little Lion had to get in on the action too. Yes he is eating!!!
Well if Little Lion was getting in, so was PopPop!!
Then I left so we could have a grandparent picture....It's hard to get 2 kids to look at the camera and smile, but we tried :)
Maybe next time Mr.E will get into a picture, but it was Mother's Day after all:)

Little Lion even showed Flower Power some love;)
Here is LL and his BFF.
What a nice start to Mother's Day weekend!

1st Grade Reading!!
I bought Little Lion a new book yesterday just to see if he could read it. Yup I'm that Mom :) It is Going to the Sea Park by Mercer Mayer. I figured he'd get a lot of it and I assumed it'd be kindergarten reading. I brought it home and let him read it...YUP he read most of it. I few things like names he wasn't familiar with were a little tricky, but listen to most of the words read fluently by LL. I did a little research and it's a 1.2 level book which means First Grade 2nd month!!! It's 3 mins long and I put the camera down a few times to turn the page...don't think I forgot you:)It's not the whole book....I figured you'd be sea sick with all my movements, but you get it ;)
So in teacher and braggy mom's terms...that would be over 2 years above grade level :) Genius I tell you!!

5 Months!
Happy 5th Month Birthday Flower Power!!
My baby is growing everyday and I'm not sure I like it!! It hit home this weekend that my baby is my last baby since I had a garage sale and sold a lot of my maternity clothes. This body is closed for business :)
Flower Power is becoming a little diva! Her personality is shining through! FP is a very smiley girl and wants attention often! She wants to be entertained usually by Mommy or Brother. FP has learned that other people want to hold her, but Mommy is the only one she wants to hold her and FP makes it known! She can turn on a dime from being the sweetest, smiley girl to crazy screaming crying, and back to smiley. The world is hers!
Flower Power is starting to overcome crying all the time in the carseat. I think because we've moved her to the big girl seat (convertible one). She now only cries 30% of the time! You don't get attention when you are facing backwards and Mommy is in the front. She is also learning to like tummy time. But like I said she can turn on a dime :)
We'll see what happens this month :)
