Elf on the Shelf

Steve our Elf has returned this month! He has been busy watching over the kids every day and doing fun things in the night after reporting to Santa. Here is a recap of our month so far!  Steve returned by leaving a message on the bathroom mirror.

Our favorite so far has been planting Magic Elf Seeds in sugar.

I love watching Little Lion look for him every morning!! FLower Power is still a little bit too little to understand, but likes him too! The magic of Christmas is happening daily in this house! And I cherish every minute of it since it only lasts so long! Bless this sweet babies!

Here Comes Santa Claus!

We finally headed down to Disney to meet Jolly Old St. Nick.  Luckily it was a Monday night and kind of gloomy, so the line wasn't very long.  I tried to snap a picture of the 2 of them waiting anxiously, but that was the problem they were anxious!

After 15 minutes of waiting we made to Santa! Little Lion was fine to sit with him. Flower Power too, but I think she was confused because she couldn't believe he was real and the Disney people were shining lights at her to take a picture and making crazy sounds.

Little Lion told Santa that he wanted a Maroon Man City Soccer Jersey. Flower Power just continued to stare at him. Of course when we left she was all talkative about him and wanted to see him again! One more last minute photoshoot before heading home.

Hope Santa brings what they want :)

TWO!!

To celebrate my BABY turning 2, we decided to celebrate twice!  First we had a family dinner with the grandparents and cousins.

We came home to sing and have cupcakes. M&M cupcakes because she loves M&M's!!

On her actual birthday we started the day off by opening her gifts. Flower Power LOVED opening the gifts. It makes me excited for Christmas!!

Then we headed to celebration number 2...Universal Studios!! We went to Islands of Adventure first. My dad even joined us! Here is our day in pictures!!

Flower Power's favorite meet and greet was with Spider-Man!! She loves him and was enamored by him!!

The day was so much fun BOTH kids were asleep in the car on the way home!! That is a sign of a good time!! Today we took some birthday pictures of my girl with Dena and will post those soon!! Happy 2nd Birthday Sweet Girl!!

Twinkle, Twinkle

Dena at Everyday Moments Photography wanted us to get in the holiday cheer with this sweet Twinkle Light Picture of my cuties!

She also took one of Flower Power last year and this year!  Look how much she has grown!!!  I can't believe she'll be 2 in a week!! It's like Santa brought me a little girl!!!

Swinging Good Time!

We are loving the Florida weather right now!! It's been gorgeous and 80 everyday this week! The kids spend the majority of their time outside playing. Here they are having fun playing on the swings.

New Year, New Beginnings!

TEN years ago, I went out with my friends for a little NYE fun. I ended up meeting this guy and turned him down THREE times!!

Little did I know it was the beginning of my FOREVER! I did finally give him my number and we've been inseperable since! 10 years down and hopefully 50 more to go :)

Elf on the Shelf Shenanigans

Steve our Elf only has a few nights left with us. I thought I'd share with my blog readers some more fun spots he has been the past couple of weeks.

Helping Little Lion remember his part for the school Christmas program and a note from Santa telling him how proud he is of LL for speaking in front of a crowd.

Little Lion and Flower Power both got bumps on the head one night. Steve showed his compassion by wearing Band Aids and told the kids that Santa didn't want to bring them Band Aids for Christmas so be careful :)

I love the magic of our Elf! LL wakes up every morning searching for Steve. He thinks Steve is super funny and into everything!! The only problem is that when Steve goes back to the North Pole in a couple days for good, LL is going to be disappointed;( Luckily, he birthday is a week away. Hopefully that will distract him!! I hope Steve has some great BIG plans to finish out his visit to our house!!!
