It's starting...

The permits are through and the installation of the pool is about to begin....wooohooooo!!!! I'm am excited! They are coming on Friday to frame it and dig it out! It'll have a shape before the week is done!! I can't wait! In the meanwhile...tomorrow...we have to finish picking tiles and pavers and Mr.E has to take down our fence gate and cap off the sprinklers. Here is the beginnings of the fruits of his very sweaty labor!
Friday will be Day 1. I'm sure the kids will love watching the digger! Stay tuned!

Happy Easter!

This Easter we spent the afternoon with my parents. We decided to go out to eat then everyone can relax:) We took some pictures in our Easter best!

New Smyrna Beach!!

Our wonderful friends Dena and Heath invited us to spend the last weekend of Spring Break with them at New Smyrna Beach. Well Duh of course we'd go!! The first day we had another family with us. After spending the day at the beach and pool we headed out to dinner all 12 of us! While we were waiting for our table we hung out on the dock. The kids had a fun time watching the resident dolphin!

The next two days were spent building sand pyramids which turned into a shield for water guns.


Catching fish in a bucket and a clam which now is happily living in our salt water tank:)

Good Backyard!!

I'm excited to announce a new addition to our home....a POOL!!!! We have officially signed the paperwork and the pool should be getting started soon! First step was get rid of the tree. Second step take down our screened in porch.

Grandma and PopPop's

This past weekend was Spring Break for Little Lion. So we spent the week doing fun things. One day we headed to my parents' house for a little sun n fun at their pool. Flower Power hasn't been in the pool in almost a year. It was like a whole new experience. She loved it!
Little Lion wasn't brave enough to try to swim without his floaties yet. However, I keep let the air out a little bit:) So he's basically swimming himself with the reassurance of the floaties ;) Sneaky Mommy!!!
After the Sun, Little Lion thought he'd have some Fun taking pictures. He's pretty good:)


Next up our mini vacation with great friends to New Smyrna Beach......

TIMBERRRRRRRRRR!

We are adding onto our house! We are getting a swimming pool!! Living in Florida with kids, I have learned over the past couple of years that a pool is a MUST in the summer and spring and fall :) ! So we should be breaking ground in the next couple of weeks. In the mean while we had to take out a tree that would be in the middle of the pool. Mr.E thinks he is a lumberjack and could do it himself. He scared the you know what out of me!! Watch for yourself!
I'll be posted updates on the pool as it goes along :)

Duck Face

Flower Power has been giving us the ever popular, thanks to Jersey Shore, Duck Face!
She isn't actually trying to be a duck. This is her kissy face :) She puckers her lips when she wants to kiss. Or as Mr.E is trying to teach her....Whatcha Talkin' About Willis! Yes you have to be old to get that reference :)
